Galápagos Islands - An intensely green addition to our Summer lineup. This color run is made with local northern Vermont Butternut that was milled way back in the 20th century (1997) and features a wild array of green hues.
 
When we were deciding on the name, it was almost like we could hear Sir David Attenborough whispering to us about sea turtles and the importance of those ecosystems. We hope that when these are worn they remind people to do a little better and take care of our places and spaces.
 
Side note: Butternut is lighter than most other deciduous woods, and with nearly 30 years of dry-time, these are the lightest pairs we’ve ever made.
